WELCOME TO THE QUADRANT HOUSE REDEVELOPMENT WEBSITE

Amro Real Estate Partners (Amro) are bringing forward proposals to reuse and enhance Quadrant House to provide a range of new homes for the London Borough of Sutton in this central location, adjacent to Sutton Railway Station.

Throughout 2023 and 2024, Amro engaged with the local community, Sutton Planning Officers, the GLA, TFL and Sutton’s Architectural Design Review Panel on the proposed redevelopment of Quadrant House. We listened to the comments and have made significant changes to scheme ahead of a planning application being submitted in September 2024.

Amro is proposing to revitalise a currently underutilised site to bring forward high-quality 1-bed, 2-bed and 3-bed rental homes, 'Build-to-Rent accommodation', affordable homes and 1-bed studios known as ‘Co-living accommodation’. In doing so, we are exploring how the scheme can retain and reuse some of the existing structure and materials.

The scheme will offer shared flexible office space known as ‘Co-working’ for residents of Sutton, as well as significant improvement to the public realm.

The scheme will also provide a new Community Hub available to rent by residents of Sutton, charities related to Sutton or community groups at a subsided rate.

We have been working with Sutton Women’s Centre and Network Rail to improve the safety and security around the secondary exit from the railway station. These improvements will come forward as part of the redevelopment.

The proposals aim to provide the highest environmental, sustainability and energy efficiency standards for new residential accommodation. In doing so, we are exploring how the scheme can retain the existing structure and materials.

The following pages provide details of the proposals. The website will be updated regularly in the lead up to the planning application being submitted in September 2024 as the design evolves. We want to hear your views and answer any questions you may have on the proposals; this can be done via our ‘Have Your Say’ page.
